Recreate the supermodel's look at home with the help of celebrity hairdresser Leo Bancroft.
Leo told us: “Achieving Alessandra Ambrosio’s messy up-do is very simple but is still such a stunning and effective look."
Follow Lee's easy steps to create her red carpet style:
STEP ONE
Start by splitting your hair into a side parting and apply a good volume and texturising product. I love Shu Uemura Create and Perfect Liquid Fabric-Mineral Texture Spray (£21.50), which will give your hair body and texture whilst preventing it from looking too sleek. For mega volume, turn your head upside down whilst applying this product.
STEP TWO
Using Cloud Nine’s innovative new product, The O, wind rollers into the hair - you don’t need to be too regimented about it as this look is all about being messy. Let them cool completely then remove for big, bouncy curls.
STEP THREE
Comb through with your fingers to loosen the curls a little, then backcomb the crown of the hair for extra height and to ensure the style holds all night.
STEP FOUR
Pull the hair into a ponytail and secure; remembering to leave a fringe and some loose strands around the face. Then, start pinning up random sections of the hair to create a messy bun look.
STEP FIVE
Lightly back brush the fringe to give volume then pin back to create a relaxed, off-centre quiff.
STEP SIX
Use small-barrelled tongs to give a loose curl on the sections of hair that fall around the face. This will give a gorgeous, soft, romantic edge to the look. Finally, spray with a medium hold hairspray for relaxed glamour all evening.
